Ready To Inspire Change?
The recruitment of teaching staff generally occurs October through January, but positions may be listed and filled on a rolling basis throughout the year. Educators with previous UWC and/or IB experience, personal experience with mindfulness and outdoor education and pursuits and those with a desire to be involved in the boarding life of the school are at a distinct advantage. The recruitment of administrative and support staff also occurs on a rolling basis throughout the year and therefore interested applicants are encouraged to visit this page frequently. For teaching and non-teaching positions alike, applicants must have a strong alignment with the UWC Thailand Mission and Motto as they are central to everything that we do.
Due to the volume of applications we receive, only short-listed applicants will be contacted for an interview; please do not let that dissuade you from applying again in the future! Interviews occur on a rolling basis, so early application is advised as we reserve the right to deviate from published deadlines or processes if a great candidate is found. All teaching applications must go through our Schrole portal using the link below. For questions not answered by our website or Schrole page, enquiries can also be made to HR by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Child Safeguarding Commitment
Safeguarding the welfare of children and young people is a priority, and we expect all staff to share that commitment. Applicants for any position at UWC Thailand undergo child safeguarding screening, including checks with past employers, law enforcement authorities, and other governmental agencies, as required.
As a UWC, we are committed to deliberate diversity and therefore aim to hire staff as diverse as the students we serve. Our goal is to create an inclusive culture that gives voice to the variety of global perspectives. To do this, we encourage a wide range of candidates to apply, including people from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds. We consider all applications in a manner that is as respectful and as free from bias as possible as we pursue hiring the best available people who are experienced, qualified and incredible human beings.
