This year, 82 students undertook the full IB Diploma Programme as part of the largest graduating class in UWC Thailand’s history. In total, 83 students completed their UWC Thailand High School Diploma, reflecting the strength of our senior school pathways and the continued growth of our school.

The Class of 2026 achieved an average IB score of 34.4 points, up from 33 points in 2025 and significantly above the global average of 30.88 points.

Eight students achieved 40 points or higher, representing almost 10% of the cohort, and the highest score in the class reached an outstanding 43 points out of 45.

These results are especially meaningful because they show strong improvement across a growing cohort. Achieving our best-ever IB results while graduating our largest-ever class reflects the dedication of our students, the quality of teaching and guidance they receive, as well as the strength of the support systems around them.

This year, 209,607 students worldwide took the IB examinations, with only 10,526 students scoring above 40 points. UWC Thailand’s eight top achievers are therefore placed among a highly accomplished group of IB students globally.

Behind every result is a two-year journey of commitment, resilience and personal growth. The Diploma Programme asks students to think critically, manage competing priorities, serve their communities and develop the independence needed for life beyond school. We are proud not only of what our students have achieved, but of the young people they have become along the way.

For many members of the Class of 2026, these results have helped open doors to leading universities around the world, with students receiving offers, scholarships and other forms of recognition. A dedicated update on university destinations and scholarship awards will follow soon.

As they begin the next chapter of their journeys, the Class of 2026 joins a global network of more than 85,000 UWC alumni, carrying forward the values of compassion, responsibility and intercultural understanding that define a UWC education.

Congratulations to every member of the Class of 2026 on this exceptional achievement.
