Celebrating the Outstanding IB Achievements of UWC Thailand Class of 2025
UWC Thailand

We are delighted to announce the excellent achievements of our UWC Thailand Class of 2025 graduates. Their success reflects not only strong academic performance but also a deep commitment to the values at the heart of UWC and the International Baccalaureate.

Our 76 full diploma students have earned an average IB Diploma score of 33, well above the global average of 30.58. Among them, 3 students achieved 40 points or more out of 45, a clear demonstration of their dedication and intellectual rigor. UWC Thailand’s IB Diploma pass rate stands at 85.1%, exceeding the global pass rate of 81.26%.

Beyond the scores, our students have fully embraced the IB Core — Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity, and Service. These components have challenged them to think critically, engage meaningfully with their communities, and develop as compassionate, globally aware individuals.

This holistic approach aligns closely with UWC’s mission to make education a force to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. Our graduates have shown resilience and determination, balancing academic demands with active community engagement and a commitment to positive change.

We thank you to our committed teachers, boarding, and support staff who have nurtured and guided our students throughout their IB journey.

A Message from Katie Feather, UWC Thailand Secondary Vice Principal and Diploma Programme Coordinator

"The Class of 2025 has shown remarkable dedication and resilience throughout their IB journey. We celebrate every single student who embraced the challenge of their individual graduation journey. Their achievements reflect not only their hard work and talent but also a genuine commitment to what UWC stands for — using education as a force to unite people, nations and cultures, whilst embracing community engagement, critical thinking, and international mindedness. It's been genuinely inspiring to watch them develop into thoughtful young people who understand their role in creating peace and building a sustainable future. I'm confident they'll continue to carry the UWC spirit with them as they move forward, ready to make a real difference in the world."

UWC Thailand remains a diverse and inclusive learning community, welcoming students from Phuket, across Thailand, and around the world. Our IB programme fosters critical thinking alongside wellbeing and social responsibility, preparing students to make meaningful contributions wherever they go.

Thank you to our generous donors, over 50% of our Diploma Programme students receive need-based scholarships. This support ensures that talented young people from many backgrounds can access the transformative education UWC offers.

As our graduates move forward, we are confident they will continue to embody the principles of peace, sustainability, and global understanding that define UWC.
