From Mini-Mantas to grade 5, each student's educational journey is enriched with a weekly library visit, where they discover the magic of blending captivating stories, integrated technology, and gain vital information literacy and research skills. For grades 6-12, our media specialists collaborate with teachers to seamlessly integrate research and information literacy lessons into the curriculum, ensuring practical application in students' studies.

Library Access and Opening Doors

Our library is a communal space open to students, parents, faculty, and UWC staff. Whether you're seeking a quiet reading nook, collaborative study space, or a resourceful hub for research, the library is here for you. Parents, you're not just welcome; you're invited to enjoy our space and borrow books. Parent opening hours are Monday to Thursday: 7:45 am to 8:15 am and 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Fridays: 7:45 am to 8:15 am and 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm. During these times, feel free to immerse yourself in the space, read stories with your kids, and explore the wonders of literature together. Additionally, explore our dedicated parenting section, designed to support you on your unique journey.

Take a book home

Parents, just like our students, can borrow up to three items for two weeks, with the option to renew.
