Current & Future Campus

Current campus

Founded in 2008, UWC Thailand is ideally located in peaceful northern Phuket at the foothills of a beautiful national park, and only a 10-minute drive from Phuket International airport. Our sprawling, green campus allows students to flourish in age-appropriate buildings, whilst still accessing the broader facilities, to be used by all. The campus  is entirely suited to the UWC mission and transformative educational style.

The current campus includes: a gymnasium, an outdoor sports pitch and multi-function court, a multi-purpose hall, cafeteria, drama room, music rooms, health centre, library, student-run cafe, uniform shop, and a Mindfulness Centre. Our secondary building includes several classrooms, two science labs, and a design technology studio. Both primary and secondary students also have dedicated visual arts classrooms with specialist teachers. Behind the secondary building is our on-campus boarding house which is supported by a boarding villa that is a short walk to campus.

Future campus

The future of UWC Thailand has begun to unfold with the roll-out of the school's Master Plan. Having taken the time to reimagine the existing infrastructure,  we aim to create a transformative learning environment that will allow for the collective process of inquiry to unfold.  We will continue to build a vibrant learning environment for all students by providing a library and culture resource centre, an ideas lab, and a performing arts centre.

Holding true to our UWC Mission, the new campus will showcase mindfulness, sustainability and services as key elements to student success, with the addition of the centre for sustainable and mindful dialogue.
