Boarding Programme

Life in boarding at UWC Thailand combines comfort, community, and care.
Our boarding programme provides a safe, modern, and nurturing environment where students can focus on their studies, build friendships, and develop independence — all within a home away from home.

Boarding Facilities

In addition to our on-campus facilities, families may choose to purchase a membership at Thanyapura, giving students access to world-class amenities — including swimming pools, tennis courts, an athletics track, and a gym. Some activities may require advance booking, and swimming is only permitted when a lifeguard is present. Thanyapura facilities are available from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Weekend Activities

Weekends in boarding are a time to unwind, explore, and connect. Together with staff, students design engaging activities — from cultural excursions and local service projects to movie nights and sports. While weekend participation is flexible, Community Weekends are an essential part of boarding life, designed to strengthen connections and celebrate our shared community.

Key Dates

Boarding follows the UWC Thailand school calendar and closes during the December/January and June/July breaks. Students are required to vacate the boarding houses during these times. Families are encouraged to plan travel around these dates, as the houses are fully closed during school breaks.

Boarding students also return home during long weekends when staff participate in professional development. To support the flow of community life, students are expected to arrive on time and remain through the full school term.
