More about the Summer Programme
In partnership with Amala Education, UWC Thailand’s “Pathways for Change” Summer Programme is designed to thoroughly explore key details and provide practical insights into the cultivation of ethical leadership skills for young individuals aspiring to be changemakers.
Seamlessly integrated into the UWC educational framework, this programme empowers learners with ethical leadership skills. Throughout the programme, the participants will investigate foundational concepts related to leadership, management, influence, and responsibility, as well as the complex ways in which we can support others. They will also examine topics such as the bystander effect and the role of upstanders, exploring various leadership models to develop core leadership skills, including facilitation, presentation, collaboration, and coaching. The course emphasises the importance of ethical leadership as a shared behaviour to improve community well-being and create positive change.
In the last week of the programme, there will be a five-day field trip to engage authentically with the displaced Burmese community in Northern Thailand.
