Standard Promotional Terms & Conditions

UWC Thailand may offer time-limited enrolment promotions for specific events. The following terms apply to all such promotions unless otherwise stated in the relevant event-specific promotion schedule.

 

1. Eligibility

• Promotions apply only to new enrolments made directly through the UWC Thailand Admissions Office.
• Promotions exclude applications submitted through the National Committee (NC) or Global Selection Process (GSP).
• All enrolments remain subject to standard admissions requirements and approval.
• The promotion applies only where all enrolment requirements are completed by the deadline stated in the event promotion schedule.

2. Enrolment Requirements

To qualify for any promotion, families must:

• Complete the full admissions process, including academic assessments where applicable.
• Submit all required documentation.
• Sign the enrolment contract.
• Pay all required fees in accordance with the deadline stated in the relevant promotion schedule.
• Failure to complete any requirement by the stated deadline will result in the promotion being void.

3. Payment Conditions

• Where a promotion includes a tuition fee reduction, the reduction will apply to the first 12 consecutive months of enrolment from the student’s official start date, unless otherwise specified in the relevant event promotion schedule.
• Where applicable, the promotional tuition period may span portions of two academic years where a student enrols mid-year.
• Where a promotion includes a tuition fee reduction, tuition fees for the full promotional period must be paid in full, upfront, by the payment deadline stated in the relevant event promotion schedule, together with all other enrolment requirements.
• Where future academic year tuition fees have not yet been finalised at the time of invoicing, families may initially be invoiced at the most recently approved fee rate to secure the promotion.
• Once future tuition fees are confirmed and approved by the Board, any difference between the provisional invoice and the approved fee rate will be invoiced separately and must be settled prior to the student’s start date to maintain eligibility for the promotion.
• After the 12-month promotional period concludes, standard tuition fees will apply, including any annual fee adjustments approved by the Board.
• All payments must be made in Thai Baht (THB). Any exchange rate variations, bank transfer fees, or transaction charges are the responsibility of the payer.
• Any reduction or waiver of other fees, including the Placement Fee or Application Fee, will be specified in the relevant event promotion schedule.

4. Conditions & Restrictions

• Promotions are non-transferable and non-freezable.
• Promotions cannot be combined with any other discount, scholarship, financial aid, or special offer.
• Promotions do not apply to boarding fees, AELA, Learning Support, Co-Curricular Programmes (CCPs), transport, uniforms, or any additional services.
• In the event of voluntary withdrawal after enrolment, fees will be treated in accordance with UWC Thailand’s School Fee Policy and Enrolment Contract.

5. Compliance with School Policies

• All promotions remain subject to UWC Thailand’s Admissions Policy, School Fee Policy, and Enrolment Contract.

6. Governing Law

• These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.

7. School Discretion

UWC Thailand reserves the right to amend or withdraw any promotion at its discretion without prior notice. The school’s decision in all matters relating to promotions is final.
