Tahar Benattia
Secondary School Math Teacher
Tahar is a motivated educator from Algeria who has a passion for exploring new cultures. He has taught STEM in Algeria for two years before venturing to Vietnam, where he spent three years teaching ESL and Math and learning from the local community. With a bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Civil Engineering, and PGCE from Moreland university, Tahar believes that learning should be a global experience that fosters open-mindedness and empathy. In the classroom, he encourages his students to engage with their environment and ask questions that challenge their perspectives. When he's not teaching, Tahar enjoys immersing himself in outdoor activities, sport, learning new languages and trying new foods from around the world.
