Football Coach
Steve joined UWC Thailand in 2021 from our neighbours at Thanyapura Sports Club after two years as a business development manager and head football coach, during which time he established youth training camps opportunities with champions league clubs Chelsea & Borussia Dortmund, as well as hosting professional club and national team level training camps ahead of pre-season & world cup qualifying matches. He has previously worked for Newcastle United of the English Premier League as a youth coach, consulted with other professional clubs & national football associations on youth academy projects and coached extensively in youth football overseas with developmental & competitive teams, helping many players reach their aim of playing at US universities from NJCAA to NCAA D1. Steve is also an experienced grassroots coach educator/mentor and is the coach education liaison & consultant to Asia for United Soccer Coaches, the largest football member association in the world.
In his spare time he enjoys all sports, music and travel, especially to new countries and cultures!
