Siaji Otieno
English for Speakers of Other Languages Teacher
Siaji joined UWC Thailand in 2012. Siaji first came to Thailand in 2011. He had the pleasure of teaching and living in Bangkok for a few years before moving to Phuket. Prior to coming to Thailand, he lived in Tanzania. A passionate ESOL teacher in Primary School, Siaji holds a Bachelor’s degree and postgraduate qualifications in Education. Siaji is passionate about languages and is grateful for the diversity that UWC Thailand offers. Being an educator has provided him with an exciting platform to develop and exploit his potential in making a difference in the lives of people from diverse backgrounds. Playing football with the UWC Thailand community is one of Siaji’s pleasures. Often, he will also be seen drumming a djembe, singing and performing oral narratives.
