Sandra is a life-long learner committed to understanding the world around her and to serving her students with love and compassion. She is passionate about empowering and connecting with students through authentic learning opportunities that focus on cultivating the well-being of the whole child. Sandra is a native of Lima, Peru and has taught at Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) in Lima, Peru and in the Saudi Aramco Expatriate School (SAES) system in Saudi Arabia. She is a dedicated mindfulness practitioner who strives to create welcoming, inclusive and open spaces for her students to connect with their inner selves. In her free time, Sandra enjoys CrossFit, running, cooking and spending time on the couch with her husband Jess and their two dogs, Jazzy and Sal.
