Julia Feste
Head of Mindfulness
Originally from France, Julia was an expat for twelve years in China where she first arrived as a freshly-graduated environmental engineer. Very quickly she discovered an ardent passion for education and has taught science to young people from 2 to 20 years old.
Meanwhile, Julia has dedicated time at the Beijing Mindfulness Centre learning and disseminating the skills necessary to maneuver through life with greater insight, wisdom and compassion to people of all ages. She believes in the power of group sharing and honest conversations as the foundation of a healthy community, supported by the modalities of mindfulness. Her mission is to put her skills at the service of peace education.
Julia holds certifications as an ACC Mindfulness Coach, a teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion for teenagers, and is in the process of obtaining her certification as a NVC trainer.
Julia is accompanied by her wife Dalida, who is the founder of the Beijing Mindfulness Centre and trains individuals to become professional mindfulness coaches through the BMC Academy.
They have a cat named Joy.
